CADCAM Units available NOW!CAM

Collaboration between the Nuffield Primary D&T, Hayesfield School in Bath and the Techlink project has led to the development of CADCAM versions of three primary solutions units:

What should be stuck to your fridge? (2.7 MB) CADCAM version
How will you store your favourite things? (3.0 MB) CADCAM version
How fast should your buggy be? (4.1 MB) CADCAM version

There are two options for CAD Software – Robomaster CAD or Techsoft 2D Design. The CAM machine used is the Craft Robo. Both the hardware and software are easy to use.

Importantly the emphasis on pupils making design decisions has been maintained so there is little danger of the software taking over.
